ANALYZE

Analyze ARTISTIC RESPONSES to 9/11 using the SIGH model:

  • Scan for details - what details do you notice?  Colors, shapes, lines, symbols
  • Infer the message - What is the message of this artwork?  What does it make you think about? Wonder? 
  • Guess at the Artist's Intent - Why was this artwork created?  What did the artist want you to do? think? 
  • Hear the voices - If the artwork came to live, what would you hear? What would the people in the artwork say?
